Pink Robots in San Francisco at Season Finale

The Flaming Lips, an Oklahoma City psych-rock band, performed at the final concert of the Stern Grove Festival on Aug. 20, 2023. The festival, a beloved San Francisco tradition, attracts a large crowd and offers free music. San Francisco Mayor London Breed declared Aug. 20 as The Flaming Lips Day, impressing frontman Wayne Coyne. Alan Palomo, known for his electronic music project Neon Indian, played a crowd-pleasing DJ set featuring disco classics, international hits, and secret weapons.
